Nigerian music star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has voiced his disapproval of the police advisory urging voters in Edo State to return home immediately after casting their votes in the gubernatorial election.

The police, represented by Deputy Inspector General Frank Mba, instructed voters to leave the streets once they had voted. Mba emphasized this during an interview on Channels Television, while also announcing restrictions on vehicular movement from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on election day.

Despite this, Davido, who supports the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), openly disagreed with the directive, responding with skepticism on his X account.
