Former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has expressed confidence in the club’s chances of securing a top-four finish in the Premier League this season. Lampard praised the impact of new coach Enzo Maresca, who replaced Mauricio Pochettino at the start of the campaign, noting that Chelsea’s current fourth-place standing reflects positive progress.

Speaking with TNT Sports Mexico, Lampard acknowledged the challenges Chelsea has faced, including ownership changes, managerial transitions, and squad restructuring. Despite these hurdles, he believes the team is now in a strong position to compete at the highest level again.

“After a period of transition, Chelsea is well-placed to challenge for a top-four finish and meet the club’s expectations,” Lampard stated.
