Atlético Madrid is close to securing the transfer of Julián Álvarez from Manchester City, with negotiations reportedly in their final stages. Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester City has accepted Atlético’s latest offer of €75 million plus €20 million in add-ons, bringing the potential total to €95 million.

While the deal is not yet finalized, talks are ongoing regarding personal terms. Once these are agreed upon, Álvarez will be authorized to undergo a medical examination in Spain. This move would significantly bolster Atlético Madrid’s attacking options as they prepare for the upcoming La Liga season.

Álvarez, who has expressed a desire to be a regular starter, is reportedly eager for the transfer, partly motivated by his dissatisfaction with the weather in England. If completed, this transfer would mark a major investment for Atlético Madrid and a key addition to Diego Simeone’s squad.
