Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis has been left out of Nottingham Forest’s 25-man squad for the 2024-2025 Premier League season. The 26-year-old had a mixed last season, spending the first half on loan at Istanbul Basaksehir in Turkey before returning to Watford, where he scored four goals in 17 league appearances. Despite his efforts, Dennis was unable to secure a permanent deal with Watford.
Dennis, who joined Nottingham Forest from Watford in 2022, scored two goals in 19 league matches for Forest. However, due to a decline in form, he has been deemed surplus to requirements at the club, even though he still has two years left on his contract.
Meanwhile, fellow Nigerian players Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi have been included in Nottingham Forest’s squad for the upcoming Premier League campaign.
