President Bola Tinubu has submitted the Police Act Amendment Bill 2024 to the House of Representatives for review.
Speaker Tajudeen Abbas revealed this on Tuesday, reading the President’s letter during the plenary session in the Green Chamber.
The proposed amendments to the Principal Act primarily focus on the tenure provisions for the Inspector-General of Police.
