Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika is set to complete a move to Turkish champions Galatasaray, following his compatriot Victor Osimhen’s recent loan switch to the club.

According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Onyedika has agreed to a five-year contract with Galatasaray, who are actively enhancing their squad ahead of the Turkish transfer window closure. The club has already secured notable signings, including Gabriel Sara, Elias Jelert, Ismail Jakobs, and Osimhen from Napoli.

Although Galatasaray’s initial bid of €5 million for Onyedika was rejected by Club Brugge, the 23-year-old Nigerian is eager to join the Turkish side and has urged for a resolution between the two clubs. Onyedika, who was acquired by Brugge for €9.5 million two years ago, has been a key player, making five appearances this season. Brugge is expected to set a price around €15 million for the midfielder, given his remaining contract of three years.
