The Yobe State Government has awarded a contract valued at N251,884,799 for the construction of a new office complex for the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. The contract, signed by the Commissioner of the Ministry, Arch. Ahmad Buba Abba Kyari, and BL-Clan Dynamic Ltd, marks a significant development for the Ministry, which has been operating from a rented apartment since its creation in 2019.
The new office complex will be a story building located within the Ibrahim Babangida State Secretariat Complex in Damaturu, with a completion timeline of six months. Commissioner Kyari expressed his gratitude to Governor Mai Mala Buni for his continued support and emphasized the importance of this project in providing a conducive working environment for the Ministry’s staff, which is expected to boost their productivity and efficiency.
The Commissioner also urged the contractor to adhere strictly to the contract terms and ensure timely completion of the project.
