Azeez Olajide Adediran, known as Jandor, the former Lagos State governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has announced plans to collaborate with Funso Doherty to overhaul the state’s governance.
Jandor praised Doherty’s recent defection from the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) to the PDP, calling it a positive step towards uniting forces against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement shared on social media, Jandor expressed enthusiasm for Doherty’s move, highlighting it as a sign of growing support for PDP’s mission. He also hinted at further defections from APC, suggesting that more prominent figures might join the PDP as the 2027 election approaches.
Jandor lauded Doherty as a respected technocrat-turned-politician and emphasized their joint effort to improve Lagos governance.
