Ten individuals, including at least four Turkish-backed fighters, lost their lives on Wednesday when a truck packed with explosives detonated at a checkpoint in Azaz, a city in northern Syria under Turkish control. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported the incident, stating that the explosion occurred at the Shatt checkpoint, which is manned by the Turkish-backed military police. According to local sources, the blast resulted in nine fatalities, including five fighters and four civilians, with around 20 others injured. The identity of those responsible for the attack remains unknown.
