A tragic plane crash has occurred in Vinhedo, São Paulo, Brazil, involving an ATR-72 aircraft carrying 62 passengers. The plane, operated by Voepass Linhas Aéreas, was en route from Cascavel in Paraná to Guarulhos in São Paulo when it went down.
Eyewitness videos shared on social media captured the plane nosediving towards the ground before disappearing behind trees, followed by a large plume of black smoke rising into the air. Additional footage from Brazil’s TV GloboNews showed a significant area engulfed in flames with smoke billowing from the wreckage.
Local news outlet G1 has reported the incident, citing Voepass Linhas Aéreas as the operator of the ill-fated flight.
