She highlighted that the current ties between Nigeria and Botswana have been limited and expressed her commitment to fostering collaboration in infrastructure, business, and tourism.
In an interview with Arise TV, Mrs. Kereng pointed out that while the bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Botswana has existed for a long time, it has primarily focused on basic aspects such as visa collaborations. She believes that the relationship has the potential for greater depth and significance.
Kereng expressed her desire to see more Nigerians exploring opportunities in Botswana, whether in tourism, business, or other sectors. She emphasized the importance of expanding the relationship to create mutually beneficial opportunities for both countries. The High Commissioner also mentioned that strategic areas of collaboration have been identified, aiming to make the partnership between Nigeria and Botswana more valuable and long-lasting.
