Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has opened up about a falling out with Afrobeats star Davido. In a recent interview, Portable claimed he cancelled a $6,000 show in the United States to meet Davido, who had promised to collaborate with him. Despite making the sacrifice, Portable says he was snubbed and did not receive the promised feature.
The dispute reportedly began in June 2024, when Portable accused Davido of offering bad advice during a dinner in Atlanta. The feud escalated, leading to Davido unfollowing Portable on social media.
Portable shared his frustration on Instagram, announcing that he had released a song without Davido’s promised verse. He wrote, “Na who help you be your helper… Don’t beg to shine. Who go help you no go stress you.”
This public fallout has stirred up attention, further fueling the tension between the two artists.
