Nigerian media personality Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, known as Do2dtun, has voiced his frustration over the ongoing feud between music stars Davido and Wizkid. The tension reignited when Davido teased his first single of 2024, claiming it would be a hit. In response, Wizkid took to his X page with a provocative message, insinuating that others were merely producing mediocre music.
Although Wizkid didn’t directly mention Davido, fans quickly interpreted the tweet as aimed at him. This led to a back-and-forth, with Davido’s supporters accusing Wizkid of using the rivalry for publicity. Wizkid further escalated the exchange, dismissing Davido’s talent and labeling him as “wack.”
In a recent post on X, Do2dtun expressed his belief that both artists are creating quality music and that the rivalry is unnecessary. He likened the situation to the long-standing beef between Fuji musicians Pasuma and Osupa, emphasizing how exhausted he and many others are from the ongoing drama.
He stated, “Give or take, we are all going to wake up to good music. Trust me, even if they both drop, everyone still wins. We are all just going to fight on their behalf for no reason, still going to dance to it and they bank it. No losses. I just wish this can end one day. This is the longest rivalry in the history of Nigerian entertainment.”
