American actress and singer Halle Bailey has split from her boyfriend, rapper Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., popularly known as DDG, less than a year after the birth of their son, Halo. The couple, who began dating in January 2022, became parents in late 2023.
On Thursday, October 3, DDG took to his Instagram to announce their breakup, stating that the decision was mutual. “After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” he wrote in an Instagram story.
Although their romantic relationship has ended, DDG emphasized that their bond remains strong and that their top priority is co-parenting their son. “Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other,” he added. Both will now focus on their individual paths while continuing to support one another in raising their child.
