Former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has dispatched ten former cabinet members to convey his condolences to Mrs. Pauline Tallen, the former Minister of Women Affairs, after the passing of her son, Richard Adamu Tallen.
In a statement issued by Buhari’s media aide, Garba Shehu, it was revealed that the delegation was led by Lai Mohammed, the former Minister of Information. Buhari described Richard as “a gem and a rising star” and expressed deep sadness over his passing.
Buhari urged the grieving family to find comfort in the outpouring of love and respect for the deceased. Among the delegation were former ministers of Power, Environment, Trade, Youth and Sports, and other key sectors. Prayers were also offered for the repose of Richard’s soul.
