Six people, including the younger brother of former army spokesman Brigadier-General Sani Kukasheka, were killed in a bandit attack on Kukasheka village in Katsina State on Sunday night. The assailants struck around 10 PM, killing four victims instantly, while two others died from their injuries in the hospital. The wife of the local chief imam was also kidnapped during the raid. Brigadier-General Kukasheka expressed that while he does not view the attack as personal, the tragedy has left the community devastated, with many victims being the primary breadwinners for their families.
