Suspected vandals have struck vital power infrastructure, attacking the 330kV Lokoja-Gwagwalada transmission line and causing major power disruptions in Abuja. The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) reported that the attack, which occurred early on Saturday, November 9, 2024, severely damaged three transmission towers, affecting power flow to the capital city.
