Managing Director and CEO of Emios Holidays & Logistics Ltd, Emmanuel Ossai has been honored with the Ambassador for Peace Merit Award by The Universal Peacebuilder Association (UPA).
The award was presented to Ambassador Ossai at UPA’s office in Port Harcourt, Nigeria by Amb. Charity H. Sunday, in recognition of his dedication to peace-building efforts and commitment to fostering intercultural understanding and cooperation.
According to UPA, the prestigious award recognizes individuals who exemplify the ideals of selfless service, promoting universal moral values, fostering strong family bonds, encouraging interreligious cooperation, advancing international harmony, and cultivating a culture of peace.
More so, Ambassadors for Peace strive to overcome barriers of race, and nationality, while encouraging religious co-existence.
In his remark, Amb. Ossai, who hails from Delta State, expressed delight at the honour and pledged not to relent in his service and contribution to national peace and progress.
“This honour is a call for more work and an indication that people are watching us wherever we are, especially when one makes a selfless effort to serve humanity.
“I am grateful for this recognition and I hope to do more in our collective effort towards building a better and peaceful Nigeria,” he said.
The Universal Peacebuilder Association (UPA) known as Ambassador for Peace is also an Alliance Bodied from the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), that Was founded by Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon in North Korea, an international and interreligious network of individuals and organizations, including representatives from religion, government, civil society and the private sector, is dedicated to achieving world peace.
