Hilda Dokubo, renowned Nollywood actress and aspiring politician, has been suspended by the Labour Party (LP) in Rivers State. The suspension follows allegations of financial misconduct and breach of party regulations, among other charges.

Dokubo, who also serves as the acting chairperson of the Labour Party in Rivers State, received the suspension notification after an emergency meeting of the party’s ward executive committee on July 15.
