The Bloggers and Vloggers, Content Creators Association in Nigeria (BAVCCA) has voiced its confidence and support for the leadership of Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of NNPCL, Dr. Mele Kyari, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, applauding the successful reopening of the Port Harcourt refinery.
In a joint communique released by BAVCCA’s National President, Comrade Ikechukwu Chukwunyere, and Secretary, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed, post the National Executive Committee Meeting in Lagos State on Friday, the association praised the timely accomplishment and expressed optimism in Dr. Kyari’s ongoing contributions at NNPCL.
The statement urged Dr. Kyari to continue organizing programs, interactive sessions, or town hall briefings to keep the public informed about NNPCL’s activities, challenges, and successes.
Furthermore, after a thorough evaluation of Dr. Vincent Isegbe’s performance and leadership at the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS), BAVCCA conveyed a vote of confidence, appealing to President Tinubu for a second tenure for Isegbe at NAQS. The association commended Isegbe’s exceptional competence and dedication to safeguarding Nigeria’s agricultural sector during his initial term.
Isegbe’s innovative approaches, incorporating modern technology, training programs, and collaborations with stakeholders, were acknowledged for enhancing quarantine processes.
BAVCCA also commended President Tinubu for implementing policies focused on economic revival, job creation, infrastructure improvement, and corruption combat. The association encouraged Tinubu to intensify efforts in addressing the nation’s security challenges and ensuring the safety and well-being of all Nigerians.
Additionally, BAVCCA called on President Tinubu to prioritize measures that stabilize exchange rates and strengthen the Naira, fostering a healthier economic environment. The association disclosed the formation of an independent investigative panel to examine allegations of corruption, multi-billion naira frauds, and oil bunkering against the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, emphasizing the seriousness of the allegations and the need for a thorough investigation, with a report due within 7 days.
