The Lagos State Police Command successfully thwarted a bomb attack in Ikeja, the seat of the State Government, on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred near a Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) facility.
State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that the device, wrapped in a bag, was dropped by the roadside from an unregistered vehicle along Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way.
