Building Collapse in Jigawa State: Three Dead, Four Injured

In a separate incident, a two-storey building under construction collapsed in Gujungu town, Taura Local Government Area of Jigawa State, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. The collapse occurred on Saturday, as confirmed by Lawan Adam, the Public Relations Officer of the Jigawa State Police Command.

Police quickly responded to the scene, finding three deceased victims: Nafi’u Mohd, 28, from Rijiyar Zaki, Ungogo LGA, Kano State; Abdurrahman Ibrahim, 60, from Danmadai village, Gagarawa LGA; and Usman Lawan, 62, from the same address. Four others trapped in the collapse sustained varying degrees of injuries.
