A Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a lawsuit seeking the removal of Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The case, filed by the North Central APC Forum, led by Saleh Zazzaga, questioned the legality of Ganduje’s appointment, arguing it violated the party’s constitution.

Justice Inyang Ekwo ruled that the claimant lacked the required locus standi to bring the case, as the group was not a registered legal entity. The judge also stated that the appointment of party officers is an internal affair of the APC, which the court cannot interfere with. The suit was dismissed due to the claimant’s lack of legal standing and juristic personality.
