The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has returned $180,300 and 53 vehicles, stolen from Canadian citizens through cybercrimes, to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

During the handover ceremony, EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede emphasized the importance of global cooperation in fighting financial crimes, highlighting that the recovery is a result of joint efforts between Nigeria and Canada.

Olukoyede reassured that Nigeria is committed to fighting financial crimes and will continue to recover assets and ensure restitution for victims worldwide.
