The Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed the treason case brought against 119 individuals involved in the #EndBadGovernance protests. The decision was made on Tuesday by Justice Obiora Egwuatu after M.D. Abubakar, representing the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), applied to withdraw the case.
During the court session, Abubakar requested the court’s approval for the AGF to assume control of the case and subsequently discontinue the charges. Justice Egwuatu granted the application, effectively ending the legal proceedings against the protesters.
