Popular Nigerian gospel musician Dele Agbeyo, better known as Dele Gold, has passed away. The singer, renowned for his unique style of gospel music, known as “Miliki Gospel,” died on Wednesday after a brief illness.
Dele Gold, originally from Usi, Ekiti State, spent much of his life in Faforiji, Osun State. His death was confirmed by fellow gospel artist, Alayo Melody, who expressed his shock and sadness on social media, writing, “Dele Gold died kee? Ahhh This is getting too much!!!! May God help us stop this untimely death. Dele Agbeyo, may your soul rest well.”
Colleagues and fans have taken to social media to pay tribute to the late singer, honoring his contributions to the gospel music industry.

Wunmi, the widow of Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, has shared a heartfelt tribute on social media to mark the one-year anniversary of his passing. In her emotional post, she reflected on their life together, expressing her deep sorrow and how much she and their son, Liam, miss him.
She wrote, “It’s been a year today—a year since you left me and our Liam in this cold world. I miss you so much. Liam misses you too. I wish you were here to see him; you would have been an incredible father.”
Wunmi went on to express her gratitude for the love Mohbad gave her and their son, vowing to keep his memory alive through Liam. She concluded her tribute by praying for his soul, asking God to forgive his shortcomings and welcome him into eternal rest.
