Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, marking the end of their two-year marriage, which followed a second attempt at rekindling their relationship after their initial split in 2004. In an interview with Interview Magazine, Lopez shared how deeply the separation affected her, but she expressed no regrets about marrying Affleck.
Reflecting on the painful experience, Lopez said, “Not one second. That doesn’t mean it didn’t almost take me out for good. It almost did.” She acknowledged the hardship, yet feels it was a necessary part of her personal growth.
