Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has announced a strategic partnership with China to advance e-government systems in the state. This collaboration aims to enhance public service efficiency, transparency, and public security. The initiative also includes modernizing sectors such as education, healthcare, talent development, and promoting renewable energy use.
The partnership, part of Nigeria’s broader strategy of industrialization, aligns with the nation’s goal of creating “smart cities.” Governor Sani emphasized that Kaduna, with over five million residents, predominantly in agriculture, stands to benefit significantly from this collaboration. The project, in partnership with Chinese tech company Huawei, is expected to offer wide-reaching benefits to both Kaduna and the broader Northern region of Nigeria.
Governor Sani also highlighted plans to attract further investments to Kaduna, leveraging Nigeria’s strengthened relationship with China.
