Tito Jackson, a founding member of the iconic Jackson 5 and brother to the late Michael Jackson, has passed away at the age of 70. His death was confirmed by his sons on Instagram on Monday, though the official cause has not yet been disclosed.

Tito, who helped create timeless hits like “ABC” and “I Want You Back” alongside his brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, leaves behind a lasting musical legacy. His death marks another profound loss for the Jackson family, following Michael Jackson’s passing in 2009.

Steve Manning, a close friend and former manager of the Jackson family, confirmed the news to Entertainment Tonight. Tito’s sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson—members of the 1990s R&B group 3T—expressed their heartbreak in an emotional Instagram post.

They wrote, “We are shocked, saddened, and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone. He will be missed tremendously. It will forever be ‘Tito Time’ for us. Please remember to do what our father always preached: ‘Love One Another.’ We love you, Pops.”
