The Ondo State Police Command has unveiled the identities of two suspects involved in the brutal murder of prominent caterer Olakunbi Adene in Akure, Ondo State.

Olakunbi Adene, who was killed at her home on Oda Road, Akure, was discovered dead in her residence just five days after celebrating her 54th birthday. Her body was found by neighbors in a pool of blood, leading to the police being alerted.

Family sources reported that Olakunbi was in good health prior to her death, and her murder was especially shocking as it occurred shortly after she hosted a large birthday celebration.

According to the Daily Post, detectives have identified the deceased’s personal assistant and driver as the prime suspects in the case. The personal assistant, who has been arrested, has confessed to the crime and is now cooperating with authorities by providing crucial details about the murder.

Investigations suggest that the personal assistant and the driver conspired to kill Olakunbi in order to steal the money she received from her birthday celebration. The driver, who is currently at large, is reported to have supplied the weapon used in the murder.
