The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the appointment of new police commissioners for the state commands of Abia, Lagos, Ebonyi, and Akwa Ibom. The newly appointed commissioners are Isah Danladi Nda (Abia), Olarewaju Ishola Olawale (Lagos), Anthonia Adaku Uche Anya (Ebonyi), and Miller Gajere Dantawaye (Akwa Ibom).
This move follows recent promotions within the police force, creating vacancies in these key states. PSC Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu, emphasized that the new commissioners must swiftly address security challenges in their respective areas and serve with dedication. The appointments have been forwarded to the Inspector General of Police for implementation.
