Several human rights organizations have condemned recent Israeli military attacks that have killed 248 Palestinians, including women and children, in areas designated as ‘safe zones’ for internally displaced people in Gaza. The strikes, which targeted the crowded camps of al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, and Rafah, left more than 500 people injured.

Palestinian and international groups have refuted Israel’s claims that the attacks were aimed at Palestinian fighters, calling the actions a violation of international human rights and humanitarian law. The ongoing violence has raised global alarm, with thousands more missing and presumed dead under the rubble.
