Survivors of a brutal Boko Haram attack on a mosque in Mafa village, Yobe State, have recounted their harrowing experience, with 87 corpses recovered following the massacre. The terrorists, reportedly seeking revenge for the killing of one of their commanders, launched the attack during Asir prayers. The Yobe State Deputy Governor, Idi Barde Gubana, led officials in a mass burial for 34 victims, with over 50 more bodies buried in Mafa. Survivors are calling for increased security to protect the farming community from further attacks.
