Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has been summoned by the Nigeria Police Force in connection with an ongoing investigation into allegations of criminal defamation, cyberbullying, and forgery. The invitation was issued by the Inspector-General of Police Monitoring Unit, as detailed in a letter from A.A. Elleman, the unit’s head.
The letter, dated August 5, requested Dikeh’s presence for an interview on August 7 to clarify her involvement in the case. Force spokesperson Muyiwa Adejobi confirmed that the actress was called in to address a petition against her but was released afterward as the investigation continues.
