Big Brother Naija All Stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, popularly known as Baye, has shed light on her unique connection with cowrie shells that she brought into the BBNaija House during the show.
In a recent interview on Pulse’s “One On One” hosted by fellow reality star, Christy O, Ilebaye shared the reason behind her interaction with the cowries, addressing rumors sparked by CeeC.
When asked about the cowries, she responded, “I had something precious to me. Because obviously, you are supposed to have something precious when you’re doing something that you miss at home. And the cowries were for my late brother. It has been with me and even the baton. I have a baton on him too. I didn’t know where to keep it. I was just like, ‘Oh! Let me hold something strong.’ It just helps me feel like he [my late brother] is around. He is still with me.”
Ilebaye expressed her disappointment upon hearing CeeC’s claims, as her connection with the cowries was a deeply personal and heartfelt tribute to her late brother.
